The Kernochan Center for Law, Media and the Arts is dedicated to examining the legal questions that surround creative work and its authorship, dissemination, and use.  Led by Professors Jane Ginsburg and Shyam Balganesh, we host symposiums, lunches, and lectures dedicated to subjects ranging from the protection of indigenous art, to the complications of copyright and AI, and the challenges presented by mergers and acquisitions within the entertainment industry.  We invite incoming 1Ls to join us for an afternoon reception where you can talk to the Kernochan Center's faculty and staff, and to students who have worked with us as research assistants.  Get to know us, and sign up for our mailing list to be notified of our events!
