The Art of Looking: Ethics in Photography

February 10, 2023
3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
America/New_York
Jerome Greene Hall, 435 W. 116 St., New York, NY 10027 101

In an increasingly complex world where photographic images can be distributed worldwide with the click of a button, concerns about ethics in the industry are on the rise.  Whether photographing on assignment, in the street, or for purely artistic purposes, photographers are on the front lines.  Where do they draw the line between documenting reality and intruding?

Panelists include photographers Nina Berman, Donna Ferrato, Gail Halaban, and Kay Hickman, National Press Photographers Association General Counsel Mickey Osterreicher, Professor Amy Adler, and author and editor Lesley Martin.  To register, please use the link at the bottom of this page, which will be available until Thursday, February 9 at 5PM.  There is no cost to attend, but all attendees must register.  No CLE is offered for this event.
