Keep Your Copyrights was developed by the Kernochan Center for Law, Media, and the Arts and the Program on Law & Technology at Columbia Law School.
The Kernochan Center engages in research and law reform concerning creators and works of authorship. One of its main missions is to contribute to a broader understanding of the legal aspects of creative works of authorship, including their dissemination and use. This site was created under the leadership of Jane C. Ginsburg, the Faculty Director of the Center, June M. Besek, the former Executive Director, and Philippa S. Loengard, then-Assistant Director and now Executive Director of the Center.
